Pop superstar Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, were recently criticized for having a date night shortly before his Super Bowl outing.

Many slammed the athlete and his pal Patrick Mahomes, who, with his wife, Brittany, joined Kelce and Swift on a double date. Fans had claimed the footballers should have been preparing for the big game instead of going on dates.

Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ devastating loss at the Super Bowl, a report has surfaced detailing Taylor Swift’s meal order and demeanor during her controversial date night with Travis Kelce.

According to a new report, Swift dug into a hearty burger on the night of her now-controversial pre-Super Bowl outing with Kelce.

Swift and Kelce, along with Chiefs quarterback Mahomes and his wife Brittany, took a short trip to the French restaurant Lilette less than 48 hours before the big game in New Orleans.

This move sparked controversy and led to some backlash due to how close their date night was to the championship game, which would have earned the Chiefs a three-peat win had they not lost 22-40 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

For the date night, a source told the Daily Mail that Swift ordered a Kobe beef burger and fries from the restaurant’s menu.

She was also said to be super “chatty” and, along with the rest of her group, in an “amazing and fun mood.”

The source further noted that even their waitress was “shocked” to see Kelce and Mahomes out at night at their restaurant so close to the Super Bowl.

Kelce and Swift’s double date night with Mahomes and Brittany drew the ire of fans on social media, who felt it was a distraction from the big game.

Their outing also caused a small commotion outside the restaurant as they made their way through fans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the superstar and the Chiefs tight end.

Unlike Swifties, who were excited to see the power couple, some NFL fans slammed the outing, claiming that it made Kelce look “unfocused,” per Page Six.

Kelce seemingly responded to the backlash at the time by sharing a video of himself, implying that he was in good shape and ready for the game.

After two consecutive winning streaks at the Super Bowl, the Chief’s dreams of a three-peat win were crushed by the Philadelphia Eagles in a 22-40 game.

This left many fans of the Chiefs disappointed, and they didn’t hesitate to let the team know on social media.

One person on X mocked the Chiefs’ performance, saying, “The Chiefs Choked like a firework that doesn’t go off. It’s a DUD, nothing to worry about.”

Another individual mentioned Kelce’s relationship with Swift, writing, “Travis Kelce thought he was gonna ask Taylor Swift to marry him after a three-peat win, just to be down 30+ and finish with one catch for nine yards.”

Before the Chiefs’ loss, things were already looking bad for Swift, who was greeted with loud boos by some Philadelphia Eagles fans when her face was shown on the Jumbotron.

As the boos echoed through the stadium, the “Blank Space” singer quickly took notice, as her facial expression became one of bewilderment.
