Williams reportedly asserted that she has “regained [the] capacity” to manage her own affairs, challenging the continued oversight of her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, who has controlled her personal and financial matters since 2022.

Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Williams is set to undergo a medical evaluation next Tuesday, an assessment that was arranged by her legal team. If the evaluation supports her claim, her lawyers plan to file an emergency motion pushing for an end to the guardianship.

TMZ’s footage captured Williams standing at her fifth-story window, speaking via phone since visitors are not allowed inside the facility.
