Kendrick Lamar is set to take center stage for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans, and fans are eagerly anticipating what surprises he has in store.

Swift and Lamar previously teamed up for the hit remix of “Bad Blood,” leading many to wonder if the pop icon might make a surprise appearance alongside the rapper during his halftime set. However, when asked about the possibility, Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, admitted that he’s just as clueless as the rest of the world.

“I have no idea what her plans are,” he said during an interview on Australia’s “Today” show Thursday. “I would let her publicist talk to you about that.”

While Swift is confirmed to be attending the big game to support Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs, it remains a mystery whether she’ll take the stage. What is certain, however, is that after the Super Bowl, she and Travis will finally have uninterrupted time together.

“Without the NFL season, without the ‘Eras Tour,’ [it will be] just them alone really connecting more,” Ed noted, hinting at a much-needed break for the high-profile couple.

“I was just thinking about the culture, really,” he said of his recent success. “When people talk about rap, man, the conversations I hear, they think it’s just rap and not an actual art form. When you put records like that at the forefront, it reminds people … I love to see it get that type of recognition for just straight raps. From awards to Billboards.”

Speaking on Australia’s “Today” show, Ed expressed optimism about the couple’s future, highlighting that with both the NFL season and Swift’s “Eras Tour” coming to an end, they will finally have uninterrupted time together.

When co-host Karl Stefanovic jokingly asked for engagement details, Ed playfully dodged the question, responding, “Did you really think I was going to come up with that?”

He was equally reserved when asked whether Swift had a surprise performance planned for the big game. “I haven’t talked to Taylor this week. I have no idea what her plans are. I would let her publicist talk to you about that,” he said, further fueling speculation about whether Swift could make a surprise appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance.
