The first look at season 4 of The Morning Show teases possible changes — and some new faces — after a major time jump.
Apple TV+ released a teaser on Wednesday, July 9, that showed Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) and Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) contemplating the future of UBA after the merger.
“We have to stay together on this,” Bradley says in a voiceover before Alex adds, “I need to have a say in the future of this place.”
Bradley notes that she has to do “what’s best” for the network. “There was a cover-up,” she says. “The truth always comes out, you know that.”
Alex, meanwhile, mentions that they have to “question everything that we see and hear now more than ever.” As The Temptation’s “Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)” plays in the background, Bradley and Alex are joined by other characters, including Chip Black (Mark Duplass) who “needs some dirt” on someone while Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup) reflects on having others handle their “dirty work.”
Jon Hamm’s character, Paul Marks, who joined the show as Alex’s love interest, hinted that she could “run this place” in the future after she previously blocked his potential acquisition of the network.

Elsewhere in the clip were glimpses at Stella Bak (Greta Lee) and Mia Jordan (Karen Pittman) before season 4 newcomers Brodie (Boyd Holbrook) and Celine Dumont (Marion Cotillard) were briefly introduced.
Cory ended the teaser with a voiceover, saying, “It sounds like the drama at the network is juicier than the drama on the network.” There was then a message that read “face your truth” as Bradley and Alex finally came face to face.
Season 4 of the hit series picks up almost two years after the events of season 3. The synopsis hinted that “with the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America.”
The official log line continued: “In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?”
While most details about the show’s return have been shrouded in mystery, viewers know that this will be a star-studded season as Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre and William Jackson Harper join the show. Nicole Beharie, meanwhile, is coming back after she originally joined The Morning Show in season 3.
The Morning Show returns September 17 on Apple TV+ with new episodes airing weekly on Wednesdays.
