Melissa Gorga is giving Real Housewives of New Jersey fans hope for the future, revealing that producers are “working on it right now” and teasing big updates for the next season!
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ended in chaos, with Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice refusing to speak to each other, culminating in a tense finale at Rails Steakhouse.
The fallout from their explosive confrontation led to the cancellation of the reunion and a pause in production for the show. However, RHONJ fans are still hopeful about the future, and according to Melissa, there may be news sooner than expected.
In January 2025, Melissa teased that the show is already in the casting process for new faces. “I know they are casting right now,” Melissa shared, adding that she knows people who have been in talks for the next season.
During an appearance on The Sherri Shepherd Show, Melissa hinted at some exciting updates for fans, revealing, “I have some good [intel]. I feel like they’re working on it. I know they’re definitely talking to bring in some new girls.”
She also speculated that the show would likely keep some familiar faces alongside the new additions. “We’ll see. I’m hoping that we’ll get some news about RHONJ sooner than later,” she added, noting that the cast was told to expect updates after the New Year.
Despite the rumors of a possible reboot, Melissa doesn’t see a future where she and Teresa film together anytime soon. “But we’ll see,” she said, keeping the door slightly open. “I never say never in life because I always find out that’s exactly what happens.”
However, when asked about reconciliation between Teresa and her brother Joe Gorga, Teresa made it clear that it’s unlikely, stating, “No, that’s a permanent break. All the way.”
