Mary Cosby SLAMS Bronwyn Newport as a Liar Over Jewelry Scandal!
Mary Cosby didn’t hold back during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, calling out Bronwyn Newport as a liar and addressing some of the biggest moments from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion.
In a candid moment on the January 29 episode, Mary responded to a question about Bronwyn’s conflicting statements regarding purchasing jewelry from her collection. Bronwyn had initially stated at the reunion that she only bought earrings, but then later claimed on WWHL that she hadn’t bought anything at all.
Mary didn’t mince words when reacting to the controversy, simply stating, “She lied. She lied,” and agreeing with actress Chloe Fineman that Bronwyn is “not for [her].”
Lisa Barlow and Bronwyn Newport’s relationship on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has been strained due to growing tensions. Their conflict escalated during a Palm Springs trip, where Bronwyn felt undermined by Lisa’s actions.
Bronwyn accused Lisa of spreading damaging rumors, including claims she faked a miscarriage, while Lisa criticized Bronwyn’s behavior, even comparing her to Jen Shah, which deepened their feud.
As for a possible reconciliation between Lisa Barlow, 50, and Bronwyn, Mary offered her thoughts.
“I feel like if Lisa could just back up a little bit on doubling down on Bronwyn [with the miscarriage rumor] and just let the world see Bronwyn for who Bronwyn is … I feel like her overshadowing, trying to prove that she’s this and she’s that is a problem,” Mary explained.
“But if Lisa could back up, I think they could probably let things clear up, and people can see Bronwyn for who Bronwyn is, and people can see Lisa for who she is.”
As the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 reunion continues to unfold, it’s clear that Mary isn’t backing down from her bold opinions or unapologetic moments. The reunion concludes on Wednesday, February 5, at 8/7c on Bravo.
