It’s win-or-go-home time in TGL.
The playoff bracket is set with Los Angeles, The Bay, Atlanta and New York set to duke it out for the SoFi Cup and the inaugural simulator golf league championship.
In the first-ever playoff match, L.A. (4-0-1) and New York (2-2-1) will meet on March 17 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. The other semifinal, featuring The Bay (4-1) and Atlanta (3-1), will take place at the same time on March 18.
The championship match, a best-of-three series, will be played on March 24 and 25.
Live coverage of the entire post-season bracket will be available on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
The L.A.-New York match is a repeat of one of the crazier TGL outings of the season, when Los Angeles came back from down 4-0 despite holding just a two per cent chance of winning on the 12th tee.
Los Angeles’ roster features Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose and Sahith Theegala. New York counters with Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler and Cam Young.
When The Bay (4-1-0) and Atlanta (4-1-0) meet, it’ll be a battle of two of the best teams in the league — the only separator in the standings being total holes won.
The Bay won their lone meeting during the regular season 6-5.
Atlanta beat Jupiter Links 9-1 in the regular-season finale on Tuesday.
The Bay comes in with Ludvig Aberg, Shane Lowry, Min Woo Lee and Wyndham Clark while Atlanta’s roster is made up of Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover.
In addition to the SoFi Cup, the TGL champions will take home $9 million of the $21 million purse, with the runners-up sharing $4.5 million.
