A new body isn’t the only new look that Lizzo is showing off.

The Grammy-winning singer turned heads on Instagram Thursday as she shared new photos flaunting her new light-blonde hair, drawing instant comparisons to none other than Queen Bey herself.

The “Truth Hurts” hitmaker’s latest look came hot on the heels of her surprise appearance at SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s “Grand National Tour” stop at SoFi Stadium on Wednesday night.

Lizzo joined SZA onstage for a remix performance of “Special,” the empowering anthem from her 2022 album of the same name.

In the photo, Lizzo stuns in a dramatic, voluminous platinum blonde hairstyle that cascades past her shoulders in soft curls, giving strong ’90s bombshell vibes. She’s wearing a sultry, deep burgundy lace ensemble that hugs her curves and features sheer detailing and black accents. The form-fitting outfit is both glamorous and daring, showing off her confidence and recent body transformation.

Striking a bold pose with one hand on her thigh and the other resting on the wall, Lizzo gazes directly into the camera with a fierce expression. Her makeup is flawless, featuring bold lashes, a glossy nude lip, and sculpted contouring that highlights her cheekbones. Gold hoop earrings and a statement necklace add extra glam to the look.

The simple background, a plain white door with a tropical plant partially in frame, allows Lizzo and her fierce fashion moment to take full focus.

Others immediately noticed the similarities to Beyoncé.

“I swear, the moment I saw the photo, I thought it was Bey,” a third admitted. “I love my divas.”

Lizzo previously spoke candidly about her evolving body and the journey behind it.

During an April appearance on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, the Grammy-winning artist opened up about what she calls her “intentional weight release journey,” a process she says has been unfolding quietly over the last year and a half.

“I have been on an intentional weight release journey,” the singer shared. “I put it on the internet. I posted about it, and I think over the last year and a half, as I’ve been doing it, my body has been changing, very slowly, but I don’t think people were paying attention.”

While Lizzo’s appearance may be shifting, her commitment to body positivity remains unwavering. She made it clear that despite her physical transformation, she’s maintained her stance against fatphobia throughout the entire experience.

“I was still very anti-fatphobia on this entire journey,” she explained. “But I think that we gotta remember [that] everybody’s not seeing your sh-t all the time, everybody’s not seeing every video you post, everybody’s not privy to what you’re going through.”

Known for her transparency and powerful voice in the body positivity movement, Lizzo’s message remains consistent.  Transformation doesn’t mean betrayal, and personal health journeys can coexist with self-love and advocacy.

Earlier this year, Lizzo celebrated a personal achievement. She took to Instagram to share two mirror selfies accompanied by screenshots from her health app, revealing she had officially reached her weight loss goal.

“I did it,” she captioned the post. “Today, when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder [that] you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”

According to the data in her screenshots, the singer had decreased her body fat percentage by 16% and lowered her BMI by 10.5 points.
