Lizzo has stunned fans with a daring video of her dancing up a storm, with many fans fearing she was completely nude while showcasing her moves and slimmed-down figure.

It comes after the singer opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing she reached her goal in January 2024 after shifting from veganism to a whole-foods diet with animal protein.

In interviews, Lizzo has also discussed her complex relationship with food and emphasized body autonomy.

Lizzo turned up the heat on Thursday with a jaw-dropping Instagram video that left fans doing a double-take and questioning if she was wearing anything at all.

The 37-year-old singer showcased her noticeably slimmer frame in a sultry backyard clip set to her own song “Still Can’t Fuh.”

Facing away from the camera with her curves on full display, Lizzo moved gracefully in the warm glow of sunset.

She donned a platinum blonde wig and appeared nearly nude, accompanied by backup dancers dressed in ultra-revealing thongs and sheer bodysuits.

However, despite how nude the singer looked, it turned out she was actually wearing a shapewear from her Yitty line.

The barely there outfits created an optical illusion so striking that social media erupted in confusion.

“Are they naked? I’m so confused,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Who else thought they were naked?”

The mystery was eventually cleared up by fans who took a closer look. “They’re wearing nude sets from her line lol,” one follower clarified, referring to shapewear pieces from Lizzo’s own Yitty brand.

Another added, “No, they have on flesh-tone undies.”

Other individuals took the opportunity to praise Lizzo for showcasing women of different shapes and sizes.

A fan wrote, “The reason I love Lizzo is because every video has real women with real figures. That sh-t makes me feel so normal.”

The steamy video comes just days after Lizzo opened up about her “complicated relationship” with food and shared new details about her weight loss journey.

In a candid conversation with Women’s Health for their “Fuel Like” series, the “About Damn Time” hitmaker spoke about the emotional complexity of her eating habits over the years.

“My relationship with eating has evolved so much,” she said. “We’ve had highs and we’ve had lows. Like it’s a very complicated relationship. Um, there have been times when I have undernourished myself. There have been times when I was bingeing.”

Now, Lizzo says she’s found a more balanced approach. “I feel like right now in my life, when I intuitively eat and listen to my body, that always works out for me.”

She also revealed that a period of persistent “low energy” and stomach issues led her to make a major dietary change: reintroducing animal protein after avoiding it for a while.

“I had a period where I was experiencing a lot of stomach pain and stomach issues,” she explained. “So my trainer at the time, he noticed my diet, and he was like, you know, I highly suggest a Japanese diet.”

Back in January, Lizzo proudly revealed that she had reached her weight loss goal.

In an Instagram post, she wrote: “I did it. Today, when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder that you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”

Since then, the “Good as Hell” singer has opened up about what it took to get there and why sustainability was key.

During a June 19 appearance on the “Just Trish” podcast, Lizzo shared that one of the most important changes she made was stepping away from veganism.

“What did it for me was— it was not being vegan,” Lizzo explained. “Because when I was vegan, I was consuming a lot of fake meats. I was eating a lot of bread. I was eating a lot of rice, and I had to eat a lot of it to stay full. But really, I was consuming like 3,000 to 5,000 calories a day.”

She added, “So for me, when I actually started eating whole foods and eating like beef and chicken and fish, I was actually full and not expanding my stomach by putting a lot of like fake things in there that weren’t actually filling me up.”

Lizzo also revealed earlier in June that she initially began her journey in 2023 by trying Ozempic, a GLP-1 medication commonly used for weight loss.

While it seemingly helped curb her appetite, the singer eventually decided it wasn’t a sustainable solution for her.

“I tried everything. Ozempic works because you eat less food, yeah? So if you eat right, it makes you feel full,” she explained, adding, “But if you can just do that on your own and get mind over matter, it’s the same thing.”

Although Lizzo chose to stop using the medication early on, she made it clear that she doesn’t view Ozempic as a shortcut or a form of cheating, especially for those who genuinely need support in their weight loss journeys.

“It’s not easy,” she said. “It’s a drug to help somebody with something they’re struggling with. I think people… It’s their way of being fat phobic when you’re telling someone they’re cheating.”
