Larsa Pippen Breaks Silence on VIRAL Swollen Face Pics… Claims Her PRP Treatment Went Wrong!
Larsa Pippen is setting the record straight after a viral image sparked speculation she’d gone overboard with fillers. The Real Housewives of Miami star insists the dramatic change wasn’t the result of cosmetic work gone wrong — but an allergic reaction to a PRP facial — a claim that’s left the internet buzzing, fans divided, and critics unconvinced.
In a candid Instagram Stories video over the weekend, Larsa, 51, addressed the chatter head-on.
“I feel like that photo went viral,” she told followers. “I’m wondering if someone made it look like that because this is what my face looks like. I’m on TV, so you know what I look like.”
She explained that the image in question was taken just days before she filmed the RHOM reunion.
“I just shot my [‘RHOM’] reunion a couple of days ago, so you’ll see what I look like at my reunion,” she continued. “I did have PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn’t even know you can have, so my face is a bit swollen, but it doesn’t look like that, so keep on hating guys.”
PRP treatments are designed to rejuvenate skin using a patient’s own blood platelets, making allergic reactions uncommon. Still, the rare explanation hasn’t stopped social media from weighing in — with some calling her look “filler gone wrong” and “overfilled.”
Larsa didn’t hold back in the comments section, firing back: “Honey I had PRP and had an allergic reaction so chill out.”
This isn’t the first time the Bravo personality has opened up about her beauty regimen. During the RHOM Season 4 reunion, she walked host Andy Cohen through the procedures she’s had done.
“I’ve had my nose done,” she revealed. “I’ve had my lips done. And that’s basically it,” before noting she’s also enhanced her chest.
Her curves, however, are all-natural — according to Larsa. “I literally work out seven days a week,” she said.
“If I show you my photos from five years ago, I was less than 100 pounds. I’m 140 pounds now, so yeah, my legs look thicker than they were, my arms look thicker than [they were]. My whole body has changed… My body’s tight because I work out.”
Larsa also made it clear she embraces beauty treatments without shame. “I feel like I’m very progressive,” she explained. “I’m into trends, and I feel like whatever makes me feel good and look good, I’m willing to do. I’m that person. I’m very happy with the way I look.”
