Gigi Paris is finally telling her side of the story.

The model and ex-girlfriend of Glen Powellopened up on the “Too Much” podcast about the heartbreak and betrayal she felt amid swirling affair rumors between Powell and his “Anyone But You” co-star, Sydney Sweeney.

Paris dated Powell for over three years before their split in April 2023, coinciding with Powell and Sweeney’s highly publicized press tour for their rom-com.

“I was shattered, shattered,” she said. “It wasn’t a way to monetize the breakup. It wasn’t a way to twist the story around. I just wanted respect.”

The duo’s flirty promo appearances sparked intense speculation that their on-screen chemistry had led to something off-screen, with the actors seemingly playing into the buzz to build hype for the film. Powell later admitted the strategy “worked wonderfully,” telling the New York Times, “Sydney is very smart.”

But according to Paris, the PR stunt came at a personal cost.

Paris recalled confronting Powell about the rumors, only to be dismissed.

“This is what I have to do for my job,” he reportedly told her. At that moment, Paris said she felt she had two choices: “Either pretend like I was going along with everything… or stand up for myself and say, ‘No, I’m actually not okay with this, and I’m walking away.’ So that’s what I decided to do.”

She ultimately flew to Australia, where “Anyone But You” was filming, to end the relationship face to face. “I was bawling on the plane,” she revealed.

The Miami-born model went on to criticize how the situation was handled publicly, saying she felt like she’d been “fed to the dogs.”

“I just hit a threshold of what I could take,” Paris said. “I know that I deserve a lot better, and I know that the bare minimum of any relationship is to have your partner’s back.”

She also took issue with the lack of a public statement from Powell. “All that needed to be said was, ‘I would never cheat on my girlfriend.’ Just have some decency.”

Paris concluded with a bittersweet reflection, saying she hoped Powell and Sweeney ended up together, “I honestly hoped that they’d end up together, because I was like, at least it would make it worth it for me, you know? I hope they are in love or whatnot.”

Soon after the rumors began circulating, Sweeney responded to the speculation in an interview with Variety.

“It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want!” she said. “Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much. He’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker.”

She added, “They want it. It’s fun to give it to ’em.”

“Anyone But You” director Will Gluck chimed in, “Sydney is brilliant at a lot of things, including how to deal with social media. She didn’t emotionally internalize it. It was crazy, but after a while it became normal.”

This all comes shortly after Sydney Sweeney officially confirmed that she’s no longer engaged to film producer Jonathan Davino.

In a recent interview with The Times, the “White Lotus” star revealed she’s single after ending her engagement.

When asked if a wedding was still in the works, the 27-year-old firmly replied, “No.”

“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it,” she added.

Sweeney and Davino had been dating since 2018 and got engaged in 2022, with reports suggesting a May 2025 wedding was planned. However, fans began speculating about a split earlier this year when Sweeney was spotted without her engagement ring in February.
