MANILA, Philippines—The fourth quarter proved to be Gilas Pilipinas’ kryptonite in the Doha International Championship Sunday morning (Manila time) at Qatar University Stadium.
The Philippines bowed to Lebanon, 75-54, following an abysmal final frame that saw the Nationals score just six points in the payoff period.

The loss came less than 24 hours after Gilas held off Qatar, 74-71, in the first game of the pocket tournament.

Gilas stared at a three-point deficit heading into the fourth period before Lebanon took control of the game thanks to an 11-2 run.
Justin Brownlee paced the Philippines with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Calvin Oftana added 10.

Gerard Hadidian and Jad Khalil combined for 36 points with 18 each for Lebanon while Atok Majok finished just a rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.
Gilas goes for a bounce-back win over Egypt on Monday morning, 1:30 am (Manila time).
