Gia Giudice Is Still Feuding With Her ‘Next Gen NYC’ Co-Star, Riley Burruss
Speaking with Us Weekly, Giudice, 24, provided an update on her feud with Burruss, whose mother, Kandi Burruss, was a main cast member on “RHOA” for 15 seasons.
“I didn’t think it was that deep,” Giudice said. “I don’t know how to please her, I guess.”
For those unfamiliar, Giudice had previously spoken about her relationship with Burruss on her podcast, “Casual Chaos,” explaining that things took a turn between them after she likened “RHONJ” to “RHOA.”
“I literally saw a TikTok video about it, too. It’s the same guy that always reports on drama,” Giudice explained. “He actually [hit] the nail on the head. He said, ‘I don’t really think Gia was comparing Kandi and Teresa.’ I was not. In no way, shape, or form.”

She continued, “I literally was just trying to break bread, make some conversation. All I was saying was, obviously, every Housewife franchise has its own niche. … But at the end of the day, they also have the same common denominator. They’re friend groups with drama.”

What Did Gia Giudice First Say About Her Relationship With Burruss?
Giudice first discussed her initial comments regarding Burruss’ reaction on an earlier episode of her podcast, during a conversation with “RHONJ” veteran Dolores Catania.
After Catania said “Atlanta could give [Jersey] a run,” Giudice said she thought the same thing.
“I actually said that to Riley, because I mean — it’s been talked about in the press — but the new Bravo show coming out that I’m on,” Giudice said. “She got really offended by that.”
She added, “She looked at me and said, ‘No, they’re very different.’ … I was very surprised, but she got very offended when I said that. It was me also trying to bond over something.”
Later, during her most recent interview with Us Weekly, Giudice reaffirmed that she “wasn’t trying to say anything offensive at all.”

Burruss Shares What Advice Her Mother Gave Her While Filming

During an episode of Kate Chastain’s “Bravo Bravo F-cking Bravo” podcast, Burruss discussed her new show, premiering June 3rd, 2025, and also revealed the advice her mother gave her before filming began.
“She just told me to be true to myself,” Burruss said. “Like, ‘Don’t be fake for the cameras; just be honest, be true, and you’re gonna be good.’”
How Filming As The ‘Main Character’ Has Changed Burruss’ Perspective

The 22-year-old NYU graduate also told Chastain about how “nice” it feels to be one of the show’s main subjects, considering she had always filmed as part of her mother’s entourage on “RHOA.”
“I think now, it’s interesting seeing the difference between being kind of my mom’s sidekick to now being the main character,” Burruss said. “It’s really nice, and I’m excited.”
