General Hospital predictions suspect Jason Morgan becomes a father figure to Michael Corinthos‘ baby while he’s recovering in Germany on the ABC soap opera.
Sasha Gilmore Pregnant – General Hospital
Recently, on General Hospital, Sasha Gilmore and her ex-boyfriend, Michael Corinthos, found themselves in awful situations. Sasha discovered that the man she was falling for, Cody Bell, was her first cousin.
Cody didn’t take it well when she told him and he flew off the handle. She was distraught and went to the Brown Dog Bar for a drink. Later, on General Hospital, Michael walked in.
He was upset because he found out his wife Willow Tait, had kissed his uncle, Drew Quartermaine. He had already confided in Jason Morgan who was shocked by the whole situation.
Then, Michael ran into Sasha and they supported each other. But after too many drinks one thing led to another. They wound up getting a hotel room on General Hospital and slept together.
Since then, things only got worse for Michael’s marriage. It started after he caught Willow and Drew on camera sleeping together. But everything went downhill when the family accidentally saw the footage.
After that, things got ugly fast. Willow filed for separation, then a nasty custody battle started and Michael filed for divorce. Meanwhile, Sasha discovered she was pregnant on General Hospital.
At first, she wasn’t going to tell Michael but she eventually did. He agreed to let her raise the baby on her own as long as she stayed in town. But then, things took a turn when the Michael actor decided to take a break from General Hospital.
Chad Duell Exits GH
Around the holidays, Chad Duell announced that he was leaving General Hospital after 14 years of playing Michael Corinthos. He did say that this isn’t a goodbye, it’s a see you later. So, that suggests that he might return someday
However, it could be quite a while. Chad has been acting without a break for so long that he wants to take some time to spend with his family. He also recently became a new dad and wants to spend time with his baby boy.
Thankfully, General Hospital wrote Michael’s exit in a way that he could easily come back when he’s ready if he chooses. The storyline is great for Chad but devastating for the character of Michael and his family.
Michael Corinthos Collateral Damage
Once again, Michael was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got caught in the crossfire of Sonny Corinthos‘ (Maurice Benard) mob business. Someone planted a bomb in his penthouse and when it went off Michael was inside.
He caught fire and suffered third-degree burns on over 40% of his body. So now, he is recovering in a cutting-edge treatment center in Germany. Indeed, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was horrified when she found out.
And she immediately rushed to General Hospital. Even though she wants to raise their baby by herself, it appears that she still has feelings for Michael. And he may also have feelings for her. Most likely, she didn’t want to make things worse for him.
After all, his marriage was already falling apart and he was worried about losing his kids. But now, he’s going to be out of the country and out of commission for a long time while he recovers.
Of course, Sasha has her newfound family, the Scorpios, and they are a great support system. However, she may soon get support from the last person she would expect…
General Hospital Prediction: Jason Steps In
Recently, on GH, Sasha had no choice but to announce to most of the Quartermaines that she is pregnant. For some reason, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been extremely hard on Sasha lately.
When she demanded Sasha climb a bookcase to catch a mouse, she lost it and exclaimed that she’s pregnant. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was there and it took him all of two seconds to put the pieces together.
Right after Michael slept with Sasha, on General Hospital he confessed to Jason about it. So, it did not take much for him to realize that Sasha is carrying Michael’s child. Then, he asked Sasha if Michael knows about the baby.
Soon, she opens up to him about it. No doubt, he will be glad to know Sasha told Michael and that they came to an understanding. However, Jason might soon take things a step further on General Hospital.
It’s clear that Jason cares about Sasha’s well-being. And they’ve been getting a little closer lately. So far, it’s nothing romantic but they do seem to be friends. Now that he knows she’s having Michael’s baby, he will surely want to help her in any way he can.
Jason Takes Action for Sasha Gilmore on GH
Jason is struggling with the fact that he cannot do anything to help Michael. Recently, he lost his cool in front of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). He told her that Michael is like a son to him. He needs to do something to help him now.
Indeed, he might have just found what he’s looking for on General Hospital. Although he can’t be with Michael, he can look out for his child while he is gone. Clearly, Sasha will be an amazing mother and Jason surely knows that.
But Michael’s like family to Jason and that makes his baby family. So, most likely, Sasha and her little one will want for nothing. Furthermore, they might find themselves getting closer and bonding over the baby. And Jason could very well wind up being the father figure.
Of course, as soon as Michael Corinthos is ready to come home he would step back. But in the meantime, he and Sasha might fall for each other. Or they just may end up being like family. Either way, there’s a good chance Sasha could be raising her baby with Jason.
