Brynn Whitfield BLASTS ‘RHONY’ Cast for Disrespecting and Shaming Her!

Brynn Whitfield didn’t hold back as she opened up about the dramatic finale of The Real Housewives of New York City, spilling all on her fiery feud with Ubah Hassan. Brynn accused the cast of playing her off as the villain while she was just trying to survive the chaos. With emotions still high, she called out the ladies for not showing her the respect she felt she deserved.

During a January 22 interview, Brynn, 38, addressed Ubah’s hurtful comment implying she might have slept with someone to land on the show. “It’s not right to assume that everyone remembers everything you say… but when someone’s screaming into the phone, the other person might not hear them,” Brynn explained.

Despite Ubah’s attempt to apologize, Brynn wasn’t ready to forgive. “I wasn’t open to it at the time… I need time to process,” she shared. The fallout from the Puerto Rico trip left Brynn feeling misunderstood, especially after some castmates accused her of lying about Ubah.

“It’s disgusting… I wasn’t shown much respect,” Brynn expressed, feeling that serious topics like suicide and sexual assault were being trivialized. “I don’t understand why I’m not being met with grace,” she added.

After deciding to leave Puerto Rico early, Brynn reflected on her experience. “I was mortified… I was like, ‘Just get me out of here,’” she admitted. Back home, Brynn wished someone had taken the time to listen to her. “I didn’t get that in Puerto Rico… it’s been like I’m the bad guy.”

Though still at odds with some of the cast, Brynn found hope after the reunion.

“Are we in a position where everything is fixed and perfect? No, not remotely. But at least we’re now, maybe hopefully at step one,” she said.

She’s on good terms with Jenna Lyons, Raquel Chevremont, and Erin Lichy, texting Erin “the other day.” However, she acknowledged the need to work on her friendships with Sai De Silva and Jessel Taank.

Regarding Ubah, Brynn remarked, “What’s done is done… It takes time to repair.”

She also commented on the Real Housewives of New York City reboot, urging fans to trust the direction Bravo is taking. “We’re the temporary guardians of this thing,” she said. “You want to make New York proud.”

The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 reunion airs Tuesday, January 28, at 9/8c on Bravo.
