Big Brother veto ceremony results are in and we can tell you whether Katherine Woodman used her golden power of veto and if Zach Cornell triggered his secret power to buy his way off the block. And we’ll also tell you who made a potentially game-ending move today.
Big Brother 27: Pre-Ceremony Expectations
Going into today’s ceremony, we knew if Zach didn’t use his secret power, Ava Pearl was safe from making a renom. But that seemed like a bad move when Zach wasn’t able to get reassurance on who would vote to save him over the weekend.
There was the potential that Ava would have to make not just a fourth nominee but also a fifth. If Katherine had taken Keanu Soto off the block (the only nominee she might’ve considered using it on), that would force a renom. And Zach’s power could force a fifth.
Ava had already decided it’d be Morgan Pope if her hand was forced and she had to do a renom. But Ava went into the veto meeting relaxed and didn’t think she’d have to make a renom at all because Katherine decided she wouldn’t play her power of veto.
Weekend Maneuvering on BB27
On Sunday, Morgan tried to get Rachel Reilly to see that evicting Keanu was the best route – and it would be for Morgan, since Zach and Vince Panaro are her buddies. Rachel also told Katherine people are looking to try and break up her and Rylie Jeffries‘s showmance but asked her to keep that tidbit secret. Of course, Katherine told Rylie what Rachel said.
Mickey Lee tried to pitch to Cliffton “Will” Williams and Ava to evict Keanu, but neither is interested. That’s the same thing Morgan wants – Keanu out and her boys safe. Zach tried to convince Katherine to use the veto on him. Interestingly, Keanu didn’t ask Kat to use it on him but suggested if she was going to use it, to use it on Vince.
Big Brother: Ava’s Observations
HOH Ava doesn’t like the way the nominees are acting – not Keanu, but the other two. Rachel told Ava they’re behaving this way because they’re not facing any challenges so far in BB27. That’s true – they’ve been coasting.
Rylie’s promised his vote to stay to all three nominees but seems unconcerned. Zach seemed to be waffling on spending his $10K to get off the block. I was actually hoping he’d sit on it and leave Thursday with ten grand and a lot of regrets.
It’s like watching Survivor when they don’t play the immunity idol and go out with it in their pocket. That’s one of my favorite things! So while I think it’d be fun if Ava got $10 grand to spend on vintage goodies, Zach evicted holding a power would make me laugh.
Live Feed Gold on Big Brother 27
Before we get into the veto ceremony results, here’s some fun stuff from the live feeds. Keanu was cooking up some food to serve Sunday and said, “I aim to make these sausages as thick as the man who serves them.” I had to laugh – he is thick!
Ashley Hollis said she feels like production cast a bunch of unpopular kids who are trying to relive high school. That was funny, and if Vince cried that much in high school and in his everyday life, it’s no wonder he’s got no job and lives with mom and dad. It gives me the ick.
Morgan’s Jury Delusions on BB27
Morgan’s been telling others she wants them in jury as if it’s a compliment. Rachel already snapped on her about that nonsense, but that hasn’t drilled into Morgan’s addled brain. She’s so fueled with Zach lust, I don’t think she’s processing correctly.
A fan comment from X had me rolling yesterday – they said the Mastermind disappeared when they realized the houseguests are plenty capable of sabotaging themselves. That’s facts right there!
Big Brother: Ava’s Strategic Mindset
This weekend, Ava talked to Will about how people are targeting Katherine as a floater for not playing but then targeting Jimmy Heagerty because he was playing too hard. Ava said she wants to have an impact and isn’t here to give Morgan, Zach, and Vince a summer camp.
Will agreed they were sunbathing, working out, posing, planning what to wear. Ava said, “While everybody else is on the block.” Will chimed back in saying now it’s a different story when two or three of your homies are on the block. That’s a solid read right there!
Fan Reactions Heat Up for Big Brother
A couple other fan comments I really enjoyed today – JOrdansHOHkey said, “This cast is very annoying and most are unlikeable, but I’m still enjoying the unpredictability, drama, and chaos. It’s giving BB11.”
And Kristee on X said, “When feeds come back on, I need Morgan spiraling, crying, throwing up.” The whole temperature on X while the feeds were down for veto was “Happy Morgan Nomination Day.” They were hoping Zach played the advantage, she was renommed, and the delay was an epic meltdown.
Big Brother 27: The Veto Ceremony Results
So, did these Morgan haters get their wish? Feeds were down for more than two hours for the veto ceremony, which is hella long – and that got fans excited they’d come back to drama. But alas, no drama. Just Vince regretting he didn’t make more egg puns. There were no tears, just an epically bad game move by Zach.
Katherine did not use the power of veto, which we expected. And Zach did not play his power, which is insane! I said before I thought he’d already mentally spent the $10K. For that reason alone, I hope Zach’s evicted this week.
I suspect the feeds were down so long for some extra content opportunities for Unlocked and the CBS episodes for the casuals. Looks like Keanu was made to do some butt buttlering in the middle of it because he was in the full outfit when the feeds returned, and we could see the outfit came with some giant booty pads. I have to say I like the big butt and I cannot lie!
Thursday’s Showdown on BB27
Heading into Thursday’s live eviction episode, we’ll have Vince, Keanu, and Zach facing the BB Blockbuster, and I am personally manifesting a win for Keanu mostly so I can see Vince crying and Zach full of regret.
And I will bow down to the Big Brother production gods if they evict Vince in the egg suit! However, Zach getting evicted with a power in his pocket would make me equally happy.
