Big Brother fans, we’ve got your veto meeting results! Mickey Lee used her golden Power of Veto on herself, forcing Vince Panaro to make a replacement nomination. But before we get to who went up, we need to talk about the absolute chaos involving Rachel Reilly, Keanu Soto, and Kelley Jorgensen that led up to this decision.
Big Brother 27: Understanding Kelley’s Pot-Stirring Game
If you don’t watch live feeds, you might not realize just how aggressive of an instigator Kelley is. She loves pitting people against each other, with Keanu and Rachel being two of her favorite targets. Vince called her out on it and asked her to stop, but Kelley stirs the pot constantly.
It’s well-known in the BB27 house, which is why houseguests not only want her evicted but don’t want her in jury. Mickey literally said “I don’t want Kelley’s crazy ass in jury.” If she’s on the block this week, she’s likely going home.
Here’s what makes Kelley’s behavior particularly disturbing – she told people she wants Rachel out, but not until jury because she wants Rachel to miss her anniversary and spend it alone and miserable without Brendon. What kind of horrible mindset is that?
When Vince told Rachel what Kelley said about missing her anniversary, that seemed to be Rachel’s breaking point.
“Hug-Gate” Exposes the Real Dynamic on Big Brother
Last night brought us “Hug-Gate,” with casual viewers saying Rachel was horrible to Kelley. Here’s what actually happened:
Rachel was sitting outside chatting with Mickey, Cliffton “Will” Williams, and Morgan Pope. Kelley was heading to bed and hugged Mickey goodnight, then tried to hug Rachel, who said “No thanks, I don’t need a hug.”
Kelley kept pushing, asking “Why? What did I do?” then asked everyone else “What did I do?” Rachel simply said she didn’t want a hug. Kelley asked if it was because she won’t clean (she’s declared herself on a cleaning strike).
Rachel was obviously sarcastic, saying “Yes Kelley, that’s exactly why I don’t want a hug.” Kelley couldn’t stop and said “I don’t think I’ve done anything to any of you in this room. I can’t think of one thing I’ve done wrong, so I’m going to bed.”
After getting hugs from Will, Morgan, and Ashley Hollis, Kelley stomped off. Once she was gone, Rachel said “I’m entitled to not accept a hug.” Mickey agreed, saying “You’re entitled to your own body,” and Will totally lost it laughing.
Rachel mentioned Kelley “trying to go around with some wine-gate nonsense.” This refers to Rachel cooking dinner for Lauren Domingue‘s birthday, where everyone was saying nice things about each other. Rachel got up to pour wine while Vince was being complimented, and Kelley later twisted that into Rachel being annoyed about Vince.
Big Brother: Kelley’s Manipulation Campaign Backfires
After Rachel wouldn’t hug her, Kelley ran upstairs to the HOH room crying to Keanu (who she also talks about behind his back). She literally told him Rachel wouldn’t hug her because she won’t clean the house – which wasn’t even true.
Kelley cried to as many people as possible, saying Rachel was mean and trying to ensure Vince would renominate her. Very transparent manipulation.
Even Keanu saw through it, telling Kelley that people would either think she’s nuts or deliberately provoking Rachel.
Here’s what Kelley doesn’t know – Rachel was so annoyed about the anniversary comment that when White Claw was sent into the house (which Kelley loves), Rachel poured them down the sink saying “I don’t even like it, I just didn’t want her to have it.”
Don’t get it twisted that Kelley’s some innocent victim being bullied. She does this at home too – Kelley said her own sister calls her an instigator.
Ashley Destroys Rachel Over Keanu Drama on BB27
Attorney Ashley took Rachel to court over going to Keanu after Vince told her Keanu wanted her as the renom. Ashley chewed her out, saying she wanted to strangle Rachel for that move.
Ashley told Rachel she argued her butt off to keep her off the block, explained that Keanu’s trying to blow up her game and it’s working. She warned that if it’s a tie vote, Vince won’t break it in Rachel’s favor because she broke his trust.
Ashley said Rachel was in a good position with Vince and now she’s not because of the Keanu incident. She also mentioned trying to scare Vince by saying Rachel has the votes to stay.
Rachel listened, apologized, and said she doesn’t know why she did it and won’t talk to Keanu about anything else. Then petty Rachel emerged – she went to Keanu’s bed and took back Jimmy Heagerty‘s sweater she’d let Keanu borrow.
The Final Push Before Big Brother 27 Nominations
Late last night, Morgan rushed to grab Vince after he got out of a long diary room session to keep Keanu away from him. She and Lauren both agreed that Katherine Woodman was the smart renom since she won’t stop coming for Vince because he voted to evict Rylie Jeffries.
Mickey was with Vince when Keanu tried getting in to pressure him about Rachel, but Mickey locked him out of the HOH room. Mickey also told Vince that sending out Kelley on his HOH would be good for his resume since she’s a comp winner.
Keanu lurked around, pretended to go to bed, then when Mickey left the HOH room at 3:30 AM, he went dashing back up there. But Vince told him it was too late to talk. Ashley had already warned Vince that it looks like Keanu’s running his HOH.
It came down to either Rachel or Katherine as the renom, and Vince was waffling until the feeds went down. Mickey, Ashley, and Morgan all told him not to renominate Rachel – now wasn’t the time and he didn’t have the votes.
Katherine promised she wasn’t coming for him and encouraged him to renom Rachel, but Katherine is totally coming for him. Just before the veto meeting, Rachel was the last one in Vince’s ear, and although Keanu was lurking outside the HOH door, it looks like he didn’t get a turn before the Big Brother ceremony.
Big Brother: The Official Results
The feeds went down around noon Big Brother time and came back up about an hour later. Vince’s replacement nominee was Katherine! When Keanu tried to talk to Rachel afterwards, she said “I’m not talking to you.”
Perfect! Keanu’s been caught playing stupid games with both sides of the house, and now he’s winning stupid prizes.
The final nominees this week are Kelley and Katherine sitting next to ultra-safe pawn Ava Pearl. With the house dynamics as they are, this week should bring some explosive drama as alliances continue to crumble and true loyalties get exposed.
Vince made his choice, and now we’ll see if keeping Rachel safe was the right strategic move or if it comes back to bite him. One thing’s certain – the Big Brother 27 house just got a whole lot more interesting!
