Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Leslie’s Risky Plan and Tyrell’s Humiliation

Monday, April 7th, is season 1, episode 29 of BTG. Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is going to wind up this week with some big fat stacks of cash from Dr. Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson), who wants her to take the money and run. But she tells Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) that they are going to keep the cash and blow up his anniversary party anyway.

Meanwhile, poor Tyrell is fresh off getting beat up at school. And he suffers another humiliating incident at the school. I wonder how much of that Samantha is going to tell their dads about. Meanwhile, Ted knows his dirty secret could come out soon. And he is scrambling to keep Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) in the dark, but obviously, things are not going to stay hidden.

BTG Spoilers: Fashion Show Drama and Family Conflicts Unfold

Tuesday, April 8th, season 1, episode 30, Dani is getting busy getting ready for Chelsea Hamilton’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) farewell walk down the runway. The big fashion show is coming, but things are not going to go smoothly. Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) takes on a new influencer assignment. And of course, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) isn’t going to like it.

He does not want his house husband back at work, even though Smitty is working hard on a compromise. The Dupri’s are all going to be there for the fashion show along with the Richardsons. And we’ll see if Bill shows up, but since it’s a big public event, it’s probably not going to go off without a hitch. Nothing has so far on Beyond the Gates.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Andre’s Documentary Troubles, Modeling Dreams, and Sabotage

Wednesday, April 9th, is season 1, episode 31. Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman)’s hospital documentary faces some pushback from the staff, very specifically Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob). She sees Andre filming some footage. And she isn’t happy that he taped her unawares and demands that he delete that footage, or they’re not going to be friends anymore.

Of course, Andre wants to be more than friends with Ashley. That whole dynamic with them and Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) is just so bizarre. Martin and Smitty’s daughter, Samantha, wants to try modeling. And Chelsea offers to help her. Meanwhile, as you know, Leslie is the one who ran Laura off the road. That was Nicole’s assistant. We saw way back in episode 1, 30 episodes ago. I think we saw her in just a handful of episodes, so she had like a broken leg that derailed her trip that she was going on.

Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) has been looking forward to Laura coming back to the office, which means Eva will be leaving. So, of course, Leslie can’t have that. And now it looks like she is going to try and sabotage Laura’s recovery so Eva can keep working for Nicole, at least through the anniversary party where they plan to blow everything sky-high and ruin Ted’s life.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Fallout, Family Issues, and Brazen Displays

Thursday, April 10th, Dani faces some fallout from losing her charity board seat. Now, is that just because of the scandal of, you know, pew pew pew shooting up the country club, or is this Bill’s doing because he is very upset at her? Samantha’s dream to become a model is causing some issues in the extended family. Meanwhile, Bill brazenly flaunts his new bride, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings), at the country club. And he is pushing back on those who dared to snub her because they are team Dani.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Modeling Management, Gambling Problems, and Family Secrets

Friday, April 11th, we’re on season 1, episode 33. And Samantha needs a modeling manager, but we’ve got Dani and Chelsea bickering about it. And we’ll see who Samantha sides with. So what I’m wondering is, I wonder about this argument at all because it would be great for Chelsea if Dani was managing Samantha’s career because then that would get Dani off her back and literally out of her business, aka her new purse business.

If you remember when Chelsea and Kat were talking to Dani about the purse business, Dani was ready to pivot around and be a momager of the merchandise line. Chelsea just kind of wants her to take a big step back, but she does realize her mom has some expertise. However, I’m just curious if Chelsea’s interested in managing Samantha or if she is warning Samantha away from Dani managing her because she knows how oppressive it can be because she is not just a momager or a manager, she is a micromanager.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Doug’s Dilemma

Doug’s gambling habit jeopardizes his surgical duties. Now, if you remember, there was a discussion with his friend where he was talking about him being at Joey’s tables gambling late at night. And he was worried about Doug, but he said, “Oh, it’s okay, I don’t do early morning surgeries.” That’s weird because most surgeons do. If you’ve ever had surgery, they always want you there at like the butt crack of dawn, like 6:00 a.m. for surgery.

I’m sure they’re wider awake then, but is Doug spending such late nights at the table that he is going to mess up something in surgery? This guy feels like bad things are about to happen. Meanwhile, Ted wrestles with the dirty affairs of his past.

Time is just about up for his secret affair with Leslie to blow wide open. And Kat is going to be horrified to find out Eva is her sister, and I cannot wait to see the look on her face that this thrift store girl is her actual sister when Kat has been so nasty to her. And of course, she’s going to be even worse to Eva after the reveal.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Worries, Scandals, and Potential Chemistry

Also, next week, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) is very worried. And she warns Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) that something is going to end badly, but is this about the fashion show? Is it about Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit)’s lawsuit against Bill because remember he threatened them to get everybody to show up to the wedding because he is sitting on something scandalous?

Speaking of that, the third thing that Anita may be worried about ending badly is the big secret about Martin that clearly ties to somebody being injured or dying. I think you know, obviously, Vernon and Anita are both worried that this is going to be dragged into the light if he announces his run for president, which Vernon is pushing back on. Don’t forget Turtleneck Ted is gonna get a new face in May as they pull the first ever recast on Beyond the Gates.

One last thought, anybody else feeling the chemistry between Joey and Vanessa? I think Joey was initially just getting closer to Vanessa to apply pressure to her husband, Doug, to keep him at the gambling table, but now I think Joey’s getting a little hot for the bed hopping realtor, and I think Vanessa is tempted and she may soon be playing hop on pop with silver fox bad guy Joey. We’ll see.
