Amazon‘s first major savings event of the year is now officially on the calendar.
The retail giant confirmed Tuesday that it will host its second-ever Big Spring Sale from March 25 to 31, with discounts of up to 40 percent off across over 35 categories. The announcement comes weeks after Amazon announced the sale internally on its Seller Central forum for third-party merchants.
The 2025 Big Spring Sale will give shoppers the chance to “score big on end-of-season winter items or stock up on springtime favorites” across seven days of discounts, per Amazon’s press release. Each day of the sale will feature limited-time deals and “themed daily drops” starring brands like Samsung and Hydro Flask.
Just like last year’s Big Spring Sale (which was a day shorter), this year’s iteration won’t be entirely exclusive to members of Amazon’s Prime program — though subscribers will get access to a selection of special offers.
What will be on sale during the Amazon Big Spring Sale?
Look for lots of deals on items with seasonal tie-ins to warm-weather activities and spring cleaning. Amazon has teased this much so far:

We also expect Amazon to offer some of the season’s best deals on select electronics during its Big Spring Sale, as it is wont to do during major sitewide savings events. Devices across its own Echo, Fire, and Kindle lineups will undoubtedly get the steepest discounts. It’s also possible that we’ll see some initial markdowns on Apple’s brand-new MacBook Air and iPads, which launched March 12. (It’s not too soon: Last year’s 15-inch M3 MacBook Air got a Big Spring Sale discount of $95 just two weeks post-launch.)
Amazon’s official Big Spring Sale deals will be found at amazon.com/bigspringsale once the event goes live. Amazon is populating that landing page with a handful of early offers in the meantime, including a “stock up and save” promo that nets shoppers a $15 Amazon credit for every $50 they spend on select household items.
Do you have to be a Prime member to shop Amazon’s Big Spring Sale?
The Big Spring Sale is not another Prime Day-style event in that only Prime members have access to its best offers. However, “Prime members enjoy discounts on additional items,” Amazon said. (Last year, these were open to paid Prime subscribers and those who had activated Prime’s free 30-day trial.) They’ll be marked by a “Prime Spring Deal” badge.
Amazon hasn’t revealed which items will be featured in its Prime-exclusive Big Spring Sale deals just yet, but for some added context, last year’s discounts on the previous-gen Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, a 50-inch Amazon Fire TV, a Dyson air purifier, and an American Tourister suitcase.
