Fans Accuse Anitta of Lying After She Denies Dating Mauricio Umansky on WWHL!
Anitta is finally breaking her silence on those viral ski trip photos with Mauricio Umansky.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Brazilian singer, 31, addressed the December 2023 images of her and Mauricio, 54, hitting the slopes in Aspen, Colo., alongside Lele Pons—while dressed in nothing but towels. The photos immediately sparked romance rumors, but Anitta insists their relationship is purely platonic.
“I knew this was coming,” she said with a laugh, admitting she wished she had called Mauricio beforehand to ask for advice on what to say.
“Mauricio is a great person. We became very good friends, and we always talk.”
When Andy pressed her on whether they were just friends, Anitta reiterated, “No, we became good friends.” And when asked if there was “anything romantic” between them, she coyly paused before responding, “No.” Still, her hesitation didn’t go unnoticed. Social media users immediately speculated she was hiding something. “Mauricio and Anitta definitely hooked up—there’s no way they didn’t!” one fan speculated.
Another questioned, “Why is Anitta acting so nervous on Watch What Happens Live? She’s fidgety and avoiding the topic!” Others chimed in with, “The way she dodged that question says it all,” and “Mauricio stays in the mix—first Emma Slater, now Anitta?!”

Mauricio and his estranged wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, 56, announced their separation in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. Since then, he has been linked to several women, including his Dancing With the Stars partner Emma Slater and model Nikita Kahn, whom he was seen kissing in Greece.
Meanwhile, Kyle—who was rumored to be dating country singer Morgan Wade—got emotional over Mauricio’s PDA with Nikita on a recent RHOBH episode.
