The 2025 Chapel Hill Super Regional schedule starts on either Friday, June 6th, 2025 or Saturday, June 7th, 2025. The overall #5 seed, North Carolina Tar Heels (45-13) host the Arizona Wildcats (42-18). Arizona was the #2 seed in the Eugene Regional. The first team to win two games will advance to the 2025 Men’s College World Series.
How Did North Carolina Make it to the Super Regional?
After winning the 2025 ACC Tournament in Durham, UNC would go on to win the regional in a rematch against Oklahoma on Monday. They beat Holy Cross and Oklahoma in their first two games in the regional. This is the second straight year the Tar Heels get to host a Super Regional.
How Did Arizona Make it to the Super Regional?
Just like UNC, Arizona won their conference tournament (Big 12). The WIldcats scored 31 runs in their three regional wins. They defeated Cal Poly twice and Utah Valley on their road to the Chapel Hill Super Regional.
